Abstract

Es wird ein Weg aufgezeigt, wie sich das Schulsystem rechenschwacher Schülerinnen und Schülern gezielt annehmen kann. Dazu wird das Konzept der "Förder- und Beratungsstellen für Kinder mit besonderen Schwierigkeiten im Lernen von Mathematik" in Bayern vorgestellt. Anhand qualitativer und quantitativer Daten aus Interviews, Hospitationen und einer Fragebogenerhebung werden charakteristische Strukturen und Strategien der Arbeit dieser Stellen bei der Diagnostik und Förderung rechenschwacher Grundschulkinder herausgeschält. Von den gewonnenen Erfahrungen können künftige Maßnahmen im Bildungssystem profitieren, die die Förderung rechenschwacher Kinder bzw. Jugendlicher fokussieren.

A way is shown how the school system can specifically take care of pupils with dyscalculia. For this purpose, the concept of "Support Centres for Children with Special Difficulties in Learning Mathematics" in Bavaria is presented. On the basis of qualitative and quantitative data from interviews, observations and a questionnaire survey, characteristic structures and strategies of the work of these centres in diagnosing and supporting primary school children with special difficulties in learning arithmetic are presented. Future actions in the educational system that focus on the support of children and youths with such difficulties can benefit from the experience acquired.
