Abstract

In this brief report we sketch current results on economic MPC without terminal constraints in the presence of an optimal equilibrium. We highlight the role of turnpike properties and particularly of exponential turnpike properties, for which a recently developed sufficient condition is given. The results in this note were presented at the Oberwolfach Control Theory Meeting 2012.
