Abstract

Wir führen hier zwei unterschiedliche Elementarisierungszugänge zur Betrachtung von arccos⁡(1/3) aus: einen mit Hilfe eines Additionstheorems, das bis zu einer Strahlensatzfigur elementarisiert werden kann, und einen anderen mit Hilfe der Gauß´schen Zahlenebene und der allgemeinen binomischen Formel. Außerdem gelingt eine elementare Verallgemeinerung der Irrationalität von 1/π arccos(1/√n) auf 1/π arccos⁡(√m/√n).
