Abstract

Herein we report on an electrochemical protocol for the C–H alkylation of N-heterocycles with easily accessible alkyl halides. A wide range of azauracil derivatives including bioactive terthred azauracil, pyrazinone and quinoxalinone were well accomodated and delivered the alkylated products in good to excellent yield.
