Reusable Ni-Catalysts for the Highly Chemoselective Synthesis of Primary Amines.
2019 . - VII, 169 P.
( Doctoral thesis, 2019 , University of Bayreuth, Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Earth Sciences)

Abstract

During this thesis novel reusable nickel catalysts were synthesized and characterized. The catalysts show a high chemoselectivity in the hydrogenation of nitroarenes and the reductive amination of carbonyl compounds. Various primary amines including amino acids were synthesized under mild conditions. Different functional groups or even hydrogenation sensitive groups were tolerated.
