Abstract

Die diesem Bericht zugrunde liegenden Daten wurden im Zeitraum September bis Dezember 2014 im Rahmen von Messeteilnahmen an der dmexco in Köln und den Münchner Medientagen erhoben. Neben Strukturmerkmalen vorwiegend deutscher Medienunternehmen wurden schwerpunktmäßig Daten zu den Geschäftsmodellen von Medienunternehmen und deren Veränderungen in den letzten Jahren erfasst. Ziel war es, die Aspekte der Geschäftsmodelle der Unternehmen zu identifizieren, deren Veränderung in besonderem Maße den Unternehmenserfolg beeinflussen.

Abstract in another language

This report is based on a study of German media enterprises with a focus on their business models. Besides structural features of the media firms we surveyed changes in their business models. The aim of the study was to identify triggers and impediments to a successful innovation of a media firm's business model which is regarded as an important means to foster competitive performance.
